This program provides unique training, outreach, and research opportunities for students and health professionals seeking to gain knowledge and critical skills to better address health disparities among Asian American and other racial and ethnic minority populations. Through hands-on experience on a community-based participatory research project, program interns develop a deeper understanding of culturally and linguistically appropriate approaches to research, outreach, community partnerships, and care delivery.

Research Scholars Program

The National Research Center on Hispanic Children & Families invites advanced doctoral students and early career scholars to submit applications for its Research Scholars Program. Scholars will collaborate with Center investigators on an existing project in one of the following areas: early care and education; poverty reduction and self-sufficiency; and cross-cutting topics.

Geared toward executive directors and program directors and managers, our program offers free workshops and webinars to strengthen the capacity of community-based organizations to participate in and develop community-focused research initiatives.
