“HealthCare Fund (HCF) is Palau’s first national healthcare financing program. It consists of two components: individuals Medical Savings Account (MSA) and a pooled universal social health insurance fund commonly known as National Health Insurance (NHI). These components are funded through mandatory contributions on earned income and collected in the same manner as contributions to the Social Security Trust Fund.”
The Republic of Palau Healthcare Fund supports access to health care services for residents of Palau. Its geographic focus includes All U.S. States, Territories, and Freely Associated States and Outside of the U.S. States, Territories, and Freely Associated States.
