In collaboration with CDFI, Homestead Community Development Corporation (HCDC) provided funding to help create Ohana units in Hawaii. With limited space for families to quarantine, these secondary units provided a safe space for vulnerable family members to socially distance during 2020-2021.
“The CDFI Fund’s mission is to expand economic opportunity for underserved people and communities by supporting the growth and capacity of a national network of community development lenders, investors, and financial service providers.”
